Wicket-keeper pads are lightweight, compact, and flexible protective gear designed specifically for keepers to provide safety without restricting agility. Shorter and narrower than batting pads, they cover only the shin and knee area, with flat, streamlined padding that allows quick side-to-side movement, squatting, and diving. Made with durable PU or synthetic leather on the outside and high-density foam inside, they offer impact protection while remaining easy to wear for long periods. Typically secured with two or three adjustable straps, wicket-keeper pads lack bulky wings or instep padding, ensuring a slim fit that supports speed and comfort behind the stumps.
